Implicit Bias Training CE For Michigan Psychologists

Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires implicit bias training for Psychologists. In 2023 the rule, R338.7004, was updated to allow the required implicit bias training hours to be additionally used to satisfy continuing education credits.

Psychologists
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibly for the content of the programs.

According to the training standards R 338.7004, training obtained by a nationally-recognized or state-recognized health-related organization, meets criteria, additionally, an educational program that has been approved by any board, meets criteria.
