Michigan Implicit Bias for Social Workers (ASWB-ACE)

Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires implicit bias training for social workers. In 2023 the rule, R338.7004, was updated to allow the required implicit bias training hours to be additionally used to satisfy continuing education credits.

Finish your Michigan implicit bias requirement today with the 3-hour accredited on-demand webinar course.

The 3-hour course meets the requirements for Implicit Bias Training for Michigan Social Workers.

Including the mandated pre-test and post-test, and an asynchronous, instructor-led webinar, this on-demand course meets the Michigan requirements as written in the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Public Health Code Rules.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, AKH Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. AKH Inc. Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 3.0 culture competence continuing education credits.
