Michigan LARA Requirements & Hour Guidelines
New Applicants:
Required to complete 2 hours of implicit bias training within the 5 years immediately preceding issuance of license or registration.
This 3-hour course exceeds the requirement
Renewing Licensees:
Required to complete 1 hour of implicit bias training for each year of their license or registration cycle.
Covers multiple renewal cycles
Reporting Requirements:
You do not need to report your certificate to the state. During application or renewal, you'll attest to compliance. Michigan may audit and request documentation, so keep your certificate for records.
