Course Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Correctly identify the two main classifications of pain. 
2. Describe regulation of controlled substances.
3. Identify commonly prescribed controlled substances used for the treatment of pain. 
4. Identify resources for the proper disposal of controlled substances.
