This 1-hour course satisfies the Michigan requirement for 1 hour of Medical Ethics. This course provides continuing education credits for ADA CERP, ACCME and ANCC.

Target Audience:

This course is intended for Physicians, Dental Providers, and Nurses.  

Objectives:

1. Recognize the history and foundation of ethical relationships between healthcare providers and patients.

2. Define ethical practice as it relates emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and telehealth.

3. Identify the need for privacy, consent, and confidentiality in medical care.
