Illinois Requirement - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training:

Illinois healthcare professionals subject to continuing education must complete 1 hour of sexual harassment prevention training per renewal cycle, as mandated by 68 Ill. Adm. Code 1130.400. Licensees should verify applicability with their licensing board.

In accordance with Illinois state law(s), licensed healthcare professionals may satisfy the requirements by completing a course offered by any Division-approved continuing education provider. Licensees should confirm acceptance with their respective licensing boards prior to completion.

Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (1-Hour CE) - Provider Disclaimer

This one-hour course on Sexual Harassment Prevention Training is designed to meet the mandatory one-hour continuing education (CE) requirement for licensees renewing a professional license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

Provider Qualification for Multiple Professions:

As an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredited or approved provider, we are officially recognized as a Continuing Education Sponsor by the Illinois Board of Nursing, which is administered by the IDFPR Division of Professional Regulation (DPR).

This recognition allows us to qualify as an approved provider under the Illinois state regulations governing mandatory sexual harassment prevention training, specifically as:

"an entity that is recognized as a continuing education provider under any licensing Act administered by the Division or its rules for any profession licensed by the Division" (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1130.400(b)(2)).

Therefore, we can provide this required CE course to many different professions licensed by the IDFPR Division of Professional Regulation that are subject to the one-hour sexual harassment prevention training requirement.

Note to Licensee: Completion of this one-hour course may be counted toward the minimum credit hours required for continuing education for all applicable professional licenses you hold through the IDFPR. As with all CE, the licensee is responsible for retaining their certificate of completion and ensuring the course meets all current requirements for their specific professional license renewal.
