Texas is initially preparing nurses to upload their own documentation through the Texas Nurse Portal.
SB 912 also requires continuing education tracking systems to be accessible to health care practitioners, licensing entity staff and continuing education providers. The Texas Board of Nursing has indicated that development and testing of its tracking process are ongoing.
That means the system may evolve as implementation continues.
When comparing CE providers, it is reasonable to consider whether the provider already has experience with:
